Budget Hotels in Mumbai: Explore the Magic of the City and Save Big

The city of stardust and a zillion dreams, the magic associated with Mumbai in the sub-continent is phenomenal. The array of flavors that the city of Mumbai exhibits is pregnant with history and has a story associated with it. A conglomeration of seven islands, the sprawling metropolis of Bombay was renamed Mumbai in the honor of the local deity Mumba Devi. The city witnesses a large number of people flocking to it on a regular basis to explore varied opportunities. Mumbai has a lot to offer to everyone. It can boast of resplendent colonial relics, a delectable gastronomic culture, pulsating nightlife and sprawling markets offering amazing bargains.

The heart of Mumbai does not comprise of its colonial relics, wild nightclubs or the famous stock market but the middle class in the city. The middle class imparts to Mumbai its defining character which, cannot be missed The city can annoy you a great deal when it comes to finding accommodation options- and budget ones at that. However, there are budget hotels in the metropolis to provide solace. If you get lucky, you may just find your sojourn close to Mumbai’s Beaches.

Hotels in Mumbai are known for the winsome fusion of traditional hospitality with contemporary amenities. Apart from providing round the clock service in the plush comfort of your room, they offer access to innovative technology; a restaurant that reflects on the refined gastronomic culture of the city. I visited Mumbai on business last summer and found my tarriance in the four star, Juhu Plaza. I have fond memories of my stay at the hotel. The comfortable rooms, delicious food at their restaurant and the winsome banquet hall will always be remembered and cherished. Another advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the Juhu Beach, though there are numerous other hotels near the Juhu beach; the friendly staff and their well-equipped rooms set it apart.

I have not been blessed with a chance to visit Mumbai ever since last summer, I intend to take a trip to Mumbai soon and once again get lost in the array of shades the city exhibits. I am waiting to explore Mumbai from a new perspective and the tarriance of my choice would be a budget hotel not far from the Juhu beach.

Mumbai City- The Modern Paradise in India

The commercial capital of India, our very own Mumbai can also be referred to as the tourism capital of our country. This is in keeping with the boom in tourism in Mumbai over the last two decades. Mumbai is the hub of Bollywood paraphernalia, numerous shopping malls, the double-decker BEST buses, awesome nightlife and not to forget the Mumbai monsoon. My cousin brother recently got himself settled in Mumbai and had been inviting me for a Mumbai tour ever since. Therefore, on his repeated insistence, I landed in this amazing city to experience a tinge of the so-called Mumbai life. As soon as I landed, there was a hoard of yellow-black taxis waiting with ‘taxiwallahs’ coaxing me to hire one.

Finally, my Mumbai expedition started at the Gateway of India. Situated in the Colaba area and flanked by the Arabian Sea and Mumbai Harbour, it was a feast for my awe-stricken eyes. I visited a long list of tourist spots during my Mumbai darshan. It included Juhu Beach, Linking Road, Prince Wales Museum, Siddhivinayak Temple, Haji Ali and the magnificent Bandra-Worli sea link. I also took a ride on the ‘lifeline’ of this city- the Mumbai local trains.

As the end of my vacations was approaching, I had to pack my bags and get back to home. Moreover, as a blessing in disguise, my flight got delayed by a day and I had the privilege to get a taste of the city’s Airport hotels Mumbai, which pampered me with all the luxuries of my home. While on my way back, I wrote this blog, applauding the Mumbai tourism that is flourishing at supersonic speed!
