Budget Hotels in Mumbai: Explore the Magic of the City and Save Big
The city of stardust and a zillion dreams, the magic associated with Mumbai in the sub-continent is phenomenal. The array of flavors that the city of Mumbai exhibits is pregnant with history and has a story associated with it. A conglomeration of seven islands, the sprawling metropolis of Bombay was renamed Mumbai in the honor of the local deity Mumba Devi. The city witnesses a large number of people flocking to it on a regular basis to explore varied opportunities. Mumbai has a lot to offer to everyone. It can boast of resplendent colonial relics, a delectable gastronomic culture, pulsating nightlife and sprawling markets offering amazing bargains.
The heart of Mumbai does not comprise of its colonial relics, wild nightclubs or the famous stock market but the middle class in the city. The middle class imparts to Mumbai its defining character which, cannot be missed The city can annoy you a great deal when it comes to finding accommodation options- and budget ones at that. However, there are budget hotels in the metropolis to provide solace. If you get lucky, you may just find your sojourn close to Mumbai’s Beaches.
Hotels in Mumbai are known for the winsome fusion of traditional hospitality with contemporary amenities. Apart from providing round the clock service in the plush comfort of your room, they offer access to innovative technology; a restaurant that reflects on the refined gastronomic culture of the city. I visited Mumbai on business last summer and found my tarriance in the four star, Juhu Plaza. I have fond memories of my stay at the hotel. The comfortable rooms, delicious food at their restaurant and the winsome banquet hall will always be remembered and cherished. Another advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the Juhu Beach, though there are numerous other hotels near the Juhu beach; the friendly staff and their well-equipped rooms set it apart.
I have not been blessed with a chance to visit Mumbai ever since last summer, I intend to take a trip to Mumbai soon and once again get lost in the array of shades the city exhibits. I am waiting to explore Mumbai from a new perspective and the tarriance of my choice would be a budget hotel not far from the Juhu beach.

Mumbai City- The Modern Paradise in India
The commercial capital of India, our very own Mumbai can also be referred to as the tourism capital of our country. This is in keeping with the boom in tourism in Mumbai over the last two decades. Mumbai is the hub of Bollywood paraphernalia, numerous shopping malls, the double-decker BEST buses, awesome nightlife and not to forget the Mumbai monsoon. My cousin brother recently got himself settled in Mumbai and had been inviting me for a Mumbai tour ever since. Therefore, on his repeated insistence, I landed in this amazing city to experience a tinge of the so-called Mumbai life. As soon as I landed, there was a hoard of yellow-black taxis waiting with ‘taxiwallahs’ coaxing me to hire one.
Finally, my Mumbai expedition started at the Gateway of India. Situated in the Colaba area and flanked by the Arabian Sea and Mumbai Harbour, it was a feast for my awe-stricken eyes. I visited a long list of tourist spots during my Mumbai darshan. It included Juhu Beach, Linking Road, Prince Wales Museum, Siddhivinayak Temple, Haji Ali and the magnificent Bandra-Worli sea link. I also took a ride on the ‘lifeline’ of this city- the Mumbai local trains.
As the end of my vacations was approaching, I had to pack my bags and get back to home. Moreover, as a blessing in disguise, my flight got delayed by a day and I had the privilege to get a taste of the city’s Airport hotels Mumbai, which pampered me with all the luxuries of my home. While on my way back, I wrote this blog, applauding the Mumbai tourism that is flourishing at supersonic speed!

A City of Spirit, which Never Sleeps – Mumbai
However, you call it, Mumbai or Bombay is a city of stardust and millions of dreams as they say. It would sound clichéd to call Mumbai, the New York of India but that is what describes this city, which never sleeps, the best. This city is the home for production houses, stock exchange, seaport and offices of major national and international companies. Being the Commercial Capital of India, it generates the maximum revenue for our country. Present day, Mumbai is a city of migrants consisting of people from every nook and corner of India and therefore is a multi-lingual and multi-cultural society. This colonial city of vivacious imprints and sparkling lifestyles is a focal point of globe navigators and travelers. A tourist will have a variety of places to visit right from historical monuments to amusement parks, beaches to caves. I feel if you can survive and adjust to this city’s circumstances, then you can survive anywhere in the world.
I decided to stay near the airport, and I heard that there is nothing better than Juhu Plaza, to avail a better facility of transportation and communication. The hotels near Mumbai Airport usually offers an array of services including all kind of withholdings, car hiring, attraction information and many other services. They have all the facilities to make the trip entertaining and comfortable. Encountering the sightseeing gifted a rejuvenated feeling and me with a young, fresh. The bustling Bazaar’s are Chor Bazaar, Mutton Street and Zaveri Bazaar, which witnesses the gathering of national as well as international tourist. Mumbai provides the corporate visitor as well as the holidaying tourist the right ambience and all the accompanying facilities, to make a visit that they will always cherish.
If you meet a Mumbaikar, you will never get to realize where he or she is from. One can learn many languages like Urdu, Tamil, Nepali, Bengali, Malyalam and even Bhojpuri. If population size, cultural importance and financial clout were gauges to judge what makes a capital city then Mumbai would be up there with the best of them. This fascinating tour actually gave me an opportunity to really get to know the city inside- out.

Introducing the City of Dreams & Dust – Mumbai
What creates a wonderful Mumbai experience? Colorful markets, grandiose Victorian architecture, luscious dishes in world class restaurants. Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. In this city of dreams, life never seems dull or boring especially due to the demeanor of its immeasurable chaos and action. I was telling someone about how cosmopolitan Mumbai is, but other than, anecdotal stuff and it was not easy for me to convince other people. Mumbai is the Hollywood of India. The name “City of Dreams” has been credited to Mumbai mostly to the dominating presence of the Indian Film Industry, Bollywood. Thus, thousands of people from all over the world come to visit Mumbai with their new dreams every day. Mumbaikars are lively people, who live life to its fullest.
There is a varied range of luxurious as well as budget hotels in Mumbai. According to my budget, my tour guide made reservations for me in a budget hotel accommodation. The hotel was nice enough, but compared to the rest of India, Mumbai is quite expensive. So if you are a billionaire then you can stay in Taj Land’s End but if you are a middle class like me then you may stay in one of the Four Star Hotels in Mumbai. Mumbai hotels of all genres are packed with latest facilities, which are a requisite to make the guest’s stay a comfy one. They have a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home. The rich Mumbai city seems helpful to all kinds of tourists, who come with some purpose or otherwise and bestows them with a wonderful stay.
However, I really felt that the real heroes of Mumbai belonged to its middle class. They travel in that crowded train everyday for an hour or two to reach at work. The trains are the lifeline of Mumbai as driving in this city is a horrendous experience and people from this city do not like it much to experience that every day. Eating out in Mumbai was real fun, given the fact that there are number of famous restaurants and street dhabas in Mumbai. Despite the fact that people have adapted themselves to the contemporary lifestyle, accustomed with gizmos and gadgets, they are deeply enrooted in the traditional values and principles. After wondering for long I now realized that what makes this city an attractive destination from the rest of the country is the fact that it offers tremendous employment avenues coupled with a better standard of living when compared to the rest of India.
